Recording Issues
Recording Won't Start
Symptoms: Clicking record does nothing or shows an error.
Solutions:
- Check system permissions for screen recording
- Restart Vidova
- Ensure no other recording software is running
- Update to the latest version
- Check available disk space
macOS Specific:
- Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen Recording
- Enable Vidova in the list
Windows Specific:
- Run Vidova as administrator
- Check Windows Defender settings
Poor Video Quality
Symptoms: Recordings appear blurry or pixelated.
Solutions:
- Increase recording quality in settings
- Record at native screen resolution
- Ensure sufficient disk space for high-quality recordings
- Close other resource-intensive applications
- Check GPU drivers are up to date
Recording is Laggy or Stuttering
Symptoms: Recorded video is choppy or has frame drops.
Solutions:
- Lower recording frame rate (30fps instead of 60fps)
- Reduce recording area size
- Close unnecessary applications
- Disable hardware acceleration if causing issues
- Check CPU and RAM usage
- Update graphics drivers
Audio Issues
No Audio in Recording
Symptoms: Video records but has no sound.
Solutions:
- Check audio is enabled in recording settings
- Verify microphone/system audio is selected
- Test audio in system settings

macOS:

Windows:

Performance Issues
Vidova is Slow or Freezing
Symptoms: Application is unresponsive or slow.
Solutions:
- Close other applications
- Free up disk space
- Increase available RAM
- Disable hardware acceleration
- Update graphics drivers
- Restart your computer
High CPU or Memory Usage
Symptoms: System becomes slow when using Vidova.
