Sharing Options

Vidova offers multiple ways to share your screen recordings, each optimized for different use cases.

  1. After finishing your recording, click Share
  2. Choose Create Shareable Link
  3. Set visibility options:
    • Public: Anyone with the link can view
    • Protected: Requires password or email verification
    • Private: Only people you invite can view
  4. Copy the generated link
  5. Share via email, chat, or any platform

Customize your shareable link:

  • Expiration Date: Set when the link expires
  • Password Protection: Require a password to view
  • View Count Limit: Limit how many times the video can be viewed
  • Download Permission: Allow or prevent downloads
  • Comments: Enable or disable viewer comments

Direct Sharing

Email Sharing

  1. Click ShareEmail
  2. Enter recipient email addresses
  3. Add a custom message
  4. Choose whether to include the video file or a link
  5. Click Send

Social Media

Share directly to popular platforms:

  1. Click ShareSocial Media
  2. Select your platform (Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
  3. Add a caption
  4. Choose video quality
  5. Click Share

Embedding Videos

Website Embedding

  1. Get your shareable link
  2. Click ShareEmbed
  3. Copy the embed code
  4. Paste it into your website's HTML
  5. The video will appear as a player on your site

Embed Options

Customize the embedded player:

  • Autoplay: Video starts automatically
  • Loop: Video repeats continuously
  • Controls: Show or hide player controls
  • Size: Set custom width and height
  • Theme: Choose light or dark player theme

Team Collaboration

Sharing with Team Members

  1. Click ShareTeam
  2. Select team members or groups
  3. Add a message or context
  4. Set permissions (view, comment, edit)
  5. Click Share

Organization Sharing

For larger teams:

  1. Upload to your organization's workspace
  2. Organize videos into folders or projects
  3. Set folder-level permissions
  4. Team members can access based on their role

Privacy and Security

Access Control

  • Public Links: Anyone with the link can access
  • Password Protected: Requires a password
  • Email Verification: Viewers must verify their email
  • Domain Restriction: Only allow viewers from specific domains
  • IP Whitelist: Restrict access to specific IP addresses

  • View count and unique viewers

Download Options

Allowing Downloads

  1. Open video settings
  2. Enable Allow Downloads
  3. Choose download quality options
  4. Viewers can download the video file

Download Formats

When downloads are enabled, viewers can choose:

  • Original format

  • WebM (web optimized)
  • Audio only (MP3)
